The foundation block of the group, Kempston Truck Hire was established in 1973. Our fleet, operating out of seven branches countrywide, offers a variety of vehicle hire solutions ranging in duration from 24 hours to 24 months. Qualified, certified drivers are available for hire with our vehicles.

Very often, rental vehicle specifications are industry-specific and our commercial vehicles can be modified to suit customers’ requirements. We supply vehicles to a number of industries including manufacturing, agriculture, timber, construction and distribution as well as other various business sectors.

Kempston Truck Hire’s fleet includes a full range of passenger vehicles as well as light, medium and heavy commercial vehicles, one ton bakkies, 4, 6 and 8 ton trucks, truck tractors, superlinks and buses. Also available are specialised bodies and equipment, 16 and 20 seater passenger buses, enclosed bodies, crane trucks and tail lift trucks.

To meet the growing demand of the movie making and television industry, Kempston established a Film Division in 1997. This division now has a sizeable fleet of vehicles especially adapted to the industry’s specific needs anywhere in South Africa.
